Elk jaar vindt er een barbaarse slachtpartij plaats onder grienden (een dolfijnensoort) op de Faeröer eilanden, een autonome provincie van Denemarken. Ieder jaar worden er honderden dieren gedood tijdens het jachtseizoen, dat meestal in de zomer plaatsvindt. De Partij voor de Dieren vindt het een schande dat de overheid van de Faeröer eilanden de jacht, die geen enkel redelijk doel dient, nog steeds toestaat en is daarom een e-mail protestactie begonnen.

The Disobedience Action in Shut Down The Camp will be confrontative, but non-violent. You will be able to participate at the level that suits you. In the main demonstration there is room for everybody who wish to act up against racism : young and old, parents with children, experienced and inexperienced demonstrators.
